Who I Am
An enthusiast who sells watches the way he'd want to buy them.
My name is Joey. I'm a watch collector based in San Diego who started selling to fund the next acquisition — and realized I was pretty good at it. Now I run 4T Watches as a small, intentional operation focused on quality over volume.
I don't buy watches to flip. I buy watches I'd genuinely own, and I sell them honestly. That means real photos of the actual watch, transparent condition notes, and pricing that reflects the market — not wishful thinking.
📸
Real Photos — No Stock Images
Every watch is photographed in-hand. You see the actual piece you'd be buying, including any wear or imperfections.
📋
Honest Condition Descriptions
If there's a scratch, I describe it. If the bracelet has stretch, I note it. No surprises when the box arrives.
📹
Video Calls Before Purchase
For any watch I sell, I'll FaceTime or video call to walk you through the piece live. See it in motion, ask questions in real time.
💬
Direct Communication
You deal with me directly — not a fulfillment team. Questions get real answers, fast. Usually within a couple hours.
🎯
Curated, Not Massive
I carry a small, carefully selected inventory. Every piece has been vetted personally. No buying in bulk and hoping for the best.
🚚
Insured FedEx Overnight
Every sale ships fully insured via FedEx overnight. Signature required. You're covered from the moment it leaves my hands.
My Process
How every sale works.
1
You reach out
Send a message through the site, email me directly, or DM on Reddit. I respond to every serious inquiry, usually the same day.
2
We talk through the watch
I'll answer every question honestly. If you want a video call, I'll make it happen. I'll send additional photos of anything you want to see more closely.
3
Secure payment
ACH bank transfer (no fee), Zelle, or card (+3% for processing). Same payment methods used by every serious WatchExchange seller.
4
Ships the next business day
Fully insured FedEx overnight with signature required. You get a tracking number the moment it ships.
5
After the sale
I check in after delivery. If anything is off from what was described, I make it right. That's not a policy — it's just how I operate.
Verified Track Record
100+ transactions on r/WatchExchange
Every sale is publicly logged on Reddit — timestamps, feedback, buyer comments. Not curated testimonials. Real transaction history from a community that takes reputation seriously.

The Philosophy
Transparency isn't a feature. It's the point.
The name 4T Watches stands for Time, Tradition, Trust, and Transparency. Those aren't marketing words — they're the actual constraints I operate under.
I sell a small number of watches at a time because that's what allows me to know every piece personally. I describe condition honestly because I'd rather lose a sale than disappoint a buyer. I offer video calls because a photo can hide things a live look won't.
If you're the kind of buyer who values doing business with a real person who stands behind what they sell, I think you'll like working with me.
